This budget entry level system is a simple to use bluetooth speaker system that is fully wireless. The amplifier can be hidden into the ceiling recess and then simply connect your smart device to play music. It offers average volume and adequate quality for basic background music.

This Bluetooth ceiling speaker system comes with its own wall panel which is the size of a light switch. There is a button on the front to pair the Bluetooth, and also features a front 3.5mm audio input for plugging into it from devices such as a turntable, jukebox, tv, computer and much more.

Although this is ranked 3rd, it is my highest powered system in this list with 50W per channel! This amplifier will need to be located somewhere within the room, and we would recommend near the TV if you have one. This unit has bluetooth, along with an optical for TV and other AUX input for other devices.

2 - Systemline E50 6.5" Bluetooth Ceiling Speaker System £249.99
The E50 is another in wall panel speaker system, however, the E50 can handle upto 4 speakers which is perfect for those larger rooms. As well as bluetooth you also have the front facing 3.5mm jack for plugging directly into it. This system is loud enough to entertain guests and still offers good quality background music!
This unit also has a rear 3.5mm jack for wiring in a TV and also features gesture control, allowing you to change the volume or music with just a hand movement.

1 - Lithe Audio Bluetooth Ceiling Speakers with aptX BT 5.0 £299
This is my favourite system because it has a powerful 50W amplifier built into the speaker itself, Bluetooth 5.0 with a 30 metre range and renaming capabilities. The sound quality is great and is a perfect system for partying with guests.
Because the amplifier is built onto one of the speakers, wiring is also super simple. Power one and wire to the other and your ready to start listen to music through your new bluetooth ceiling speaker system.
This is the only system I have in my arsenal that can wirelessly connect to a TV via Bluetooth, this is thanks to the special low latency chip built into the Bluetooth.

BONUS DUAL ZONE SYSTEMS
Speaker systems for Large Kitchen and Dining room areas
Since the 70's it's been a luxury to have an open planned kitchen that encompassed the dining room and sometimes even a living space. If you have joined 2 or more rooms together or you have a large open space then sometimes you'll need extra control.
I would recommend these systems if you have an area around 10m x 5m or large as this allows you to turn on or off sets of speakers as a 'Sub Zone'.
1 - Systemline E50 4 speakers system with in wall selector switch £338.99
This E50 system comes with 4 speakers as standard and a in wall selector switch that will allow you to turn on or off each pair of speaker. This is handy for split rooms where you don't want the sound playing in one area at that time.
2 - Tangent Ampster 4 speaker system with in wall selector switch £379.99
Just like above, this system and in wall switch allows you to turn on and off each pair of speakers. The Ampster comes with 50W per channel and offers more power per speaker compared to the E50.
3 - Tangent Ampster 6 speaker system with QED speaker selector switch £749
One of my favorite systems to quote for anyone that has a really large space they want to cover with background music, this will cover roughly an area of 75 sqm. That's generally your kitchen, dining and living space.
The freestanding selector switch has 3 buttons on which connect the 3 pairs of speakers to the music. Simply play your music to the system and click which set of speakers you want playing!
