With the Sonos Connect AMP you can easily add a discreet ceiling speaker system to your Sonos eco-system.

The zone will play back your music from the Sonos app like any other Sonos speaker, but instead of a freestanding speaker you'll get room filling sound from flush mounted ceiling speakers.

This is perfect for all rooms from kitchens to bedrooms, living spaces to dining rooms and much more.

We have hand picked a few of the top ceiling speakers that are known to work well with the Sonos Connect AMP.

Sonos Ceiling Speakers For Small Rooms

For smaller rooms we suggest using a single stereo ceiling speaker, this is one physical speaker but it has a left and a right channel for stereo playback.

Check out the top brands such as the Lithe Audio Single Stereo or the Monitor Audio C165-T2

Sonos Ceiling Speakers For Larger Rooms

Larger rooms will usually require a pair of speakers, and anything other 6m x 6m will potentially need two pairs.

You can't go wrong with any of the speakers on this page for rooms requiring a pair. From the very well priced Lithe Audio 6.5" passive ceiling speakers to the higher end Monitor Audio C265-IDC's.

If you're going to be installing two pairs though you need to be wary of impedance issues, you'll need to use speakers that have an impedance of 8 ohms which rules out Monitor Audio as they are 6 ohm. In this case we always recommend either Q Install or Lithe Audio ceiling speakers.
